CSRN to broadcast Shaw homecoming game

Fuquay-Varina, NC – Classics Sports Radio Network has added a game to its broadcast schedule and will broadcast the Shaw University’s homecoming game, Shaw vs. Livingstone, live from Raleigh on Saturday, October 24.  Broadcast time will begin with the pregame show at 3:30 p.m.  Donal Ware and Mike Rochelle will call all of the live action.

The game can be heard in the Raleigh-Durham area on WSHA-FM 88.9 as well as around the world at www.classicsportsradio.com.  This will be the second game that Classics Sports Radio Network has broadcast involving Shaw as CSRN opened the 2009 season with the broadcast of the rematch of last year’s CIAA Championship Game between Shaw and Elizabeth City State.

This is a pivotal matchup for Shaw (5-3, 3-2) as it looks to keep its hopes alive of defending its CIAA Championship.  Shaw is currently ranked #10 in the Boxtorow.com/BASN HBCU National Media Poll.  Livingstone (0-8, 0-5) is looking for its first win of the season.

In this its second season, CSRN has provided live play-by-play broadcasts of seven (7) games this season including the MEAC/SWAC Challenge in Orlando, the Southern Heritage Classic in Memphis, the Atlanta Football Classic, the State Fair Classic in Dallas, and the Florida A&M/South Carolina State game in Orangeburg, SC.
